Greenergy is seeking an experienced Depot Operations Manager to lead depot performance across safety, compliance, and efficiency. You will oversee drivers, resource planning, budgeting, and service delivery, ensuring high standards for customers and regulatory compliance.

In this fast-paced role you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and lead a unionised workforce, balancing people leadership with operational and commercial priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in depot, transport, or logistics operations management.
• Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, including drivers, in a unionised or safety-critical environment.
• Excellent investigation skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost-control experience.
• ADR, CPC certification (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure the depot operates in full compliance with policies and SHEQ standards.
• Operational Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the depot team and drivers; oversee scheduling and resource planning.
• Customer Service: Deliver timely, accurate fuel deliveries and resolve service issues.
• Financial & Cost Control: Manage the depot budget and KPIs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• People Management: Recruit, train, and develop the team; foster an inclusive high-performing culture.

To deliver fuel to our customers, we have a 24/7 in-house haulage operation made up of over 650 drivers and a fleet of over 250 tankers. Greenergy Flexigrid manages over 500 deliveries per day and operates out of over 20 depots nationwide, making over 182,000 deliveries to 3,100 customers each year.Join us as Depot Operations Manager and take the lead in delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused depot operations. You'll oversee all aspects of depot performance, from resource planning and team leadership through to compliance, budgeting and service delivery, ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of service.We're looking for an experienced operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational and commercial responsibilities.
