Job summary

Speedy Hire in Liverpool is seeking a General Assistant to help keep the depot running smoothly. You will work across various areas, sometimes independently and with colleagues, including deliveries, loading/unloading, testing equipment, stock control and assisting customers at the hire desk.

The role requires a driving licence and good communication skills; there is a focus on teamwork and ESG initiatives. A supportive environment with training and progression opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others.
• Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and/or collections.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading.
• Electrical testing of equipment.
• Stock control.
• Serve customers on the hire desk.
