Job summary

Boels Rental is seeking a Depot Manager in Shrewsbury to lead day-to-day depot operations and drive performance. You will manage hire desk and workshop teams, ensure Health & Safety and quality standards, and grow revenue through excellent customer service and efficiency.

With at least 3 years in plant/tool hire, you’ll shape a results-driven team, maintain strong customer relationships, and monitor market developments to identify growth opportunities. This role is on site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years plant/tool hire industry experience.
• Experienced Depot Manager or Assistant Depot Manager seeking promotion.
• Right to work in the UK; Boels does not provide sponsorship.
• Goal- and results-driven with focus on customer experience and revenue.
• Commercial acumen with ability to plan logically and strategically.
• Strong organizational skills to keep depot administration in order.

• Evidence a minimum of 3 years plant/tool hire industry experience. ESSENTIAL
• Be an experienced and driven Depot Manager (within plant/tool hire) looking for a horizontal move or be an experienced and driven Assistant Depot Manager (within plant/tool hire) that is looking to be promoted. ESSENTIAL
• Have valid proof of your right to work in the UK - (Boels does not arrange relocation, work visas or provide visa sponsorship)
• Goal and results driven mindset, with a focus on both enhancing the customer experience and maximising revenue.
• Commercial astuteness with an ability to plan logically and strategically.
• Organisational skills with the aim to keep the administration of your depot in a ship-shape manner.
