Job summary

Kevin Edward Consultancy is seeking a proven Depot Manager for a busy plant hire depot in Bristol. You will lead from the front, running day-to-day operations, health & safety, recruitment and transport, with a team of about 15 and multi-million revenue responsibility.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong people management, self-motivation and a willingness to commute to the Bristol depot. A full driving licence is essential and a bonus scheme is in place.

Qualifications

• Must have prior operations management experience at a depot of similar size.
• Experience running Plant, Telehandler, Powered Access, Lifting rental depot.
• Hands-on leadership with strong people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day depot operations and drive performance.
• Manage a team of around 15 and oversee H&S, recruitment and transport.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 basic + bonus + pension + car.

ROLE - Depot Manager - Plant Hire:

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading Telehandler Plant Hire business. They are looking to recruit an exceptional & proven Depot Manager to run one of their busiest depots, based in Bristol.

The role is an all-encompassing leading from the front role, with full control of the running of the depot day to day, management of a team of 15, multi-million revenue, operations, health and safety, recruitment, and transport. The role reports directly into the National Operations Manager.

Candidate - Depot Manager - Plant Hire:

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

• Previous operations management experience of a similar sized business unit/site.
• Experience of running Plant, Telehandler, Powered Access, Lifting or similar Equipment Rental depot.
• Hands on and strong people manager is a pre-requisite.
• Self-motivation.
• Desire to succeed.
• Commutable to Bristol depot daily.
• Full driver's licence.
