Job summary

A leading equipment management firm in Maidenhead is seeking a Depot Manager to oversee depot operations and foster a safe workplace culture. You will lead a team of engineers and ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a technical qualification in relevant fields. Competitive salary of £45,000 - £52,500 along with performance-related bonuses and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

The Opportunity: Depot Manager

Contract: Permanent

Location: Maidenhead

The Impact you will have:

  • As the Depot Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the running of our Maidenhead Depot
  • Responsible for promoting and driving a safe and efficient workplace culture
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, paint sprayers and workshop support engineers to deliver work on time and witin budget, driving the comercial performance of the Depot.
  • Maintain site records for the facility such as fire, services and contractor records including status reports
  • Forming part of the National Workshop team to ensure consistency and overall workshop KPI's
  • Maintain robust recruitment, onboarding and training for the Depot with a focus on development and retention
  • Deliver equipment to customer requirements on time at the lowest reasonable cost. To ensure customer service excellence and a continuous improvement approach to quality.

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Prior experience leading a team in a busy deport or workshop environment
  • Technical qualification in either FLTs, plant, hgv's or motor vehicles is desirable
  • Substantial experience of driving a safety led culture across a team of engineers
  • Extensive experience of communicating to a range of stakeholders in person and remotely
