Overview

Our client based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, has a brand new opportunity for a Customer Service Delivery Manager (Depot Manager). The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of all deliveries, installations and services. This role involves leading the team to achieve operational excellence and consistently meet or exceed customer service levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional communication to customers to enhance satisfaction and cultivate strong relationships.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality products and services to all customers.
• Ensure that all customer site installations are managed, installed, and signed off in strict adherence to Operational Excellence, from Depot to Delivery process.
• Oversee the depot's Profit & Loss performance by controlling costs within budget and ensuring profitable execution of all product and service deliveries.
• Oversee all depot transport activities.
• Lead and inspire the depot team, driving efficiency and innovation in daily operations.
• Ensure the depot and team adhere to health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and promptly address any identified safety issues.
• Create a positive and motivated work environment by training, motivating and developing team members to achieve exceptional results and support employee wellbeing.

About You

• You should have strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of customer service principles, and a track record of driving performance improvements.
• You should have experience of managing a team, maximizing operational excellence and surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• You should have strong IT skills.
• A full driving license is required.
