Job summary

Nationwide Platforms in Luton is seeking a Depot Support Operative to assist in all labouring duties and support transport and engineering functions at the depot. You will be part of a team focused on safety, efficiency, and high standards of customer care.

The role requires a reliable team player with a basic understanding of powered access and a full UK driving licence. Forklift licence is desirable. The position is permanent and full-time, with a salary starting from £28,100 per annum.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in all labouring duties at the depot.
• Support transport and engineering functions.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently with drivers.
• Prepare machines for drivers and manage loads for planning sheets.
• Ensure diesel machines are charged and invoicing data is completed daily.
• Maintain machine layout to optimise yard space.
• Support maintenance activities and livery guidelines in the depot.
• Provide on-site support and assist the Service Manager and shift supervisor.
