Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a proactive Labourer to join its Plant & Tool Division in London. You will help keep the workshop and yard clean, prep plant equipment for hire, refuel and log fuel usage, and ensure equipment is hire-ready through quality checks.

A strong team player, you will support colleagues and assist with loading/unloading vehicles as needed. You will operate a forklift when required, and rely on a safety-conscious approach in a fast-paced, growing business.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Cleaning plant equipment and storing it in an orderly fashion
• Refuelling plant and machinery, updating fuel logs
• Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required
• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles
• Operating forklift when necessary
