Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. in the Northeast is seeking a Labourer/Driver for our Pump & Power Services Division based at Scotia House, Spennymoor.

You will keep the depot clean, check equipment, and ensure safe, timely delivery and collection of pumps and related gear to GAP customers. Ideal candidates will have depot/yard experience, a full driving licence, and a solid grasp of health and safety guidelines; forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep all depot areas clean and tidy on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to high standards.
• Deliver and collect Pump & Power equipment to and from GAP Group customers in a timely manner.
