Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable Goods on Hold Operative to strengthen depot operations. You’ll work with the Operations Manager to manage held parcels, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve customer queries while supporting depot collections.

The role requires accuracy, good communication, and experience in fast-paced admin within warehousing or customer-facing settings. Excellent MS Office skills are essential; benefits offered from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role, ideally in warehousing or customer-facing settings.
• High accuracy, self-motivation and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication with customers, over the phone and in person.
• Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and security awareness, aligned with company values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee held parcel process to meet deadlines and ensure visibility of parcels.
• Resolve customer queries and handle depot collections efficiently.
• Ensure correct delivery information for 'unable to locate' parcels.
• Investigate damaged or opened parcels and route to goods on hold.
• Administer mis-routes and mislabelled parcels; support fraud prevention.
