Job summary

Groundforce, the market-leading rental provider of excavation support systems, is seeking a depot operative to support the depot team in ensuring equipment is ready for hire and maintained to our quality standards.

You will work under the Depot Foreman, handling painting, cleaning, servicing, stock control and ensuring health and safety policies are observed, with in-house training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete records and paperwork accurately.
• Capable of using scanners, PDAs, tablets and computers.
• Flexible, trustworthy and reliable with good time keeping.
• Valid full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Working in the Depot to prepare equipment for hire under supervision.
• Liaise with line manager to meet customer requirements and maintain high service levels.
• Paint hire equipment using airless sprayer or brushes per procedures.
• Stencil and maintain depot assets as instructed.
• Operate forklift trucks for loading/unloading and stock movement.
• Keep accurate service/inspection records and report damage.
• Maintain stock levels and quality of equipment.
