Job summary

Arriva is seeking a reliable Cleaner / Fueller / Shunter to help keep our bus fleet clean, fueled and ready for service. This hands-on role sits in a busy depot and requires practical work, safety awareness and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities include cleaning buses inside and out, refueling, moving buses around the depot for service prep, and conducting basic vehicle checks. You will support depot cleanliness and adhere to health and safety guidelines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle cleaning, fuelling, shunting or similar environments.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean buses internally and externally to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, sanitise surfaces, clean windows and remove waste.
• Refuel buses safely and efficiently according to procedures.
• Move and position buses around the depot for cleaning, fuelling and service prep.
• Carry out basic visual vehicle checks and report defects.
• Support cleanliness and organisation of depot and work areas.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE.
