As a core member of our Depositary team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide international investment managers with a comprehensive custody and banking service to meet their alternative investment strategies.

Qualifications
  • Third level business / finance / legal qualification and a minimum of 6 years operational experience in the alternative funds industry;
  • You are experienced working with some of the following asset classes - private equity, infrastructure, debt or real estate investment funds;
  • You are a strong team player with commitment to deliver outstanding client service;
  • You display in depth knowledge of depositary duties and responsibilities;
  • You are an experienced people’s manager;
  • You have strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities
  • Be the relationship owner for a group of clients (Private Equity and Real Estate Funds, Fund of Hedge Funds and Single Manager Funds using Prime Brokers).
  • Act as point of escalation for client issues, operational issues, and risk events.
  • Responsible for fund on-boarding and risk assessments.
  • Manage operational team performing cash flow monitoring, investment and borrowing restriction checks, oversight of administration and safekeeping of other asset.
  • Prepare, review and sign-off on all Depositary related work
  • Interact with Group Compliance in relation to queries and the delivery of the compliance monitoring plan
  • Participate in the on-site inspections of AIFM, administrators and ongoing due diligence of sub-custodians.
  • Enhance depositary procedures, review programs and checklists, as well as liaise with internal audit, compliance, risk and control teams.
  • Provide departmental reporting to management through KPI’s and participate in team development activities and ad-hoc projects
  • Monitor the performance of the outsourcing providers against agreed (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Attend client service meetings / board meetings.
  • Assist with training, development and motivation of the team to ensure a positive working environment.
