Job Title: Deployment Specialist - North of England

Function: Strategy, Comms & In Hospital Services

Location: Field Based – Covering the North of England

Contract type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £35,627 with potential to rise to £39,585 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Deployment Specialist to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

We are seeking an experienced Deployment Specialist who will join our new In-Hospital Services team. In this role, you will support NHS customers in the North of England through deploying and providing best practice guidance on our supply chain/inventory management solutions in NHS hospitals, ensuring successful outcomes for both customers and the business. You will work independently and collaborate across a complex stakeholder landscape, including NHS Supply Chain teams, hospital procurement, supply chain, clinical, IT, and senior roles.

Every day you will:
  1. Implement ecommerce/demand or inventory management solutions in healthcare/hospital settings.
  2. Provide guidance and training to customers and third parties on inventory management solutions.
  3. Support the technical delivery of inventory management solutions, including system integrations, hardware setup, and configuration.
  4. Work as part of a small national team to guide customers and colleagues on best practices.
  5. Support customer change initiatives through analysis and monitoring, working independently with guidance.
  6. Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities in hospital or community healthcare environments.
  7. Analyze data using pre-set tools, methods, and reporting formats.
  8. Review existing operations and generate ideas for continuous improvement across people, processes, infrastructure, and technology.
  9. Identify operational problems, root causes, and solutions in supply chain environments.
  10. Develop innovative solutions to enhance customer success.
  11. Develop and deliver clear multi-mode communications tailored to different audiences.
  12. Focus on efficient processes and continuous improvement.
