Job summary

Rivan Industries in the United Kingdom is seeking an Deployment Project Engineer to take our first commercial deployment from design to grid connection. You will coordinate design, site power, gas interfaces and procurement while managing budgets and timelines across London and project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a large, complex project end to end.
• An engineering background, degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of structural, electrical and process drawings.
• Reasoning from first principles to define requirements.
• Commercially sharp with ability to spot cost savings.
• Aligning incentives to meet timeline and budget.
• Comfortable running several workstreams across sites and HQ.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from consented field to gas flowing into the grid on programme and budget.
• Coordinate and influence design and installation of deployment packages (solar, site power, groundworks, gas pipework, connections).
• Manage programme and relationships with gas networks, landowners, authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Handle procurement and contracts, select contractors, agree prices and terms.
• Track budgets, schedule variations and procurement; flag and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate pre-construction and construction in line with CDM and UK health and safety regulations.
• Build deployment playbook to enable scalable deployment.
