Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is seeking a Deployed Software Engineer to build and deploy production software into customer environments in a London office setting. You will integrate with complex systems, data sources and hardware, and work hands-on with AI, autonomy and robotic systems.

You will tackle real-world technical challenges, turning user problems into product improvements while collaborating across software, infrastructure, networking and AI/ML domains.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Rust, Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building complex production systems.
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technologies.
• Comfortable working directly with technical users.
• Interest in AI, robotics, autonomy or distributed systems.
