H&M is seeking a Department Manager for its Merthyr Tydfil store. The ideal candidate will oversee the department's performance, ensuring outstanding customer experiences while leading a motivated team. The role demands flexibility and entails a commitment to safety and profitability in a retail environment.
This is a temporary position (12 months) offering 39 hours per week. The position is based in the H&M Merthyr Tydfil store.
Our Leaders have the ambition to make our people and business grow. As a Department Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a department to support the Sales and Profit of the store and, along with your Team, deliver a Customer First Experience.
Lead with a vision to secure the best experience for colleagues and customers.
Evaluate your team’s performance, provide regular feedback, and support their development and training.
Analyze and follow up on Sales & Profit KPI's for your department.
Ensure Health & Safety, legal, and security standards are in accordance with H&M standards and local laws to secure the safety of employees and customers.

Management experience in a customer-facing environment.
Previous experience leading and managing teams.

This is a permanent position offering 39 hours per week. Availability required 5 days a week, fully flexible, including weekends. The position is based in the H&M Merthyr store.
