Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Managerial Dental Officer to lead the Primary Dental Care Unit at St David's Hospital in Cardiff. The post combines clinical leadership with education responsibilities, including teaching dental students and supporting staff development.

You will hold BDS or equivalent, be fully registered with the GDC, and demonstrate strategic management skills with a track record in restorative dentistry and multi-disciplinary teamwork within NHS settings.

Formación

• BDS or Equivalent
• Full GDC Registration
• Further Qualifications e.g. MFDS, MSc, MPhil

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership and management of the Primary Dental Care Unit
• Deliver clinical supervision and teaching for Cardiff University BDS and DTH students
• Work with the School of Dentistry to ensure educational standards and GDC requirements are met
• Lead the resolution of clinical, operational and organisational issues within the service
• Support development of academic, nursing and administrative staff through training and mentorship
