NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Dental Therapist Tutor for four days a week based at the Dumfries Dental Centre. The post holder must be a GDC registrant and have experience of, or be willing to undertake, education. The role involves delivering the University of Highlands and Islands, BSc Oral Health Science, across Dumfries, Inverness and Stornoway.

Proficiency with IT systems and video conferencing is desirable, as teaching occurs via virtual platforms. PVG clearance is required.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is essential for practice.
• Experience in education or willingness to undertake training is required.
• Familiarity with video conferencing and virtual learning environments is beneficial.
