Job summary

Medical Update Online is seeking an experienced Dental Ceramist in Leigh-on-Sea to join a modern, fully digital private laboratory. The role centers on producing high-quality ceramic restorations from start to finish, with emphasis on implant restorations and aesthetic cases within a digital CADCAM workflow.

You will work in a small, professional team focused on crown and bridge work, using in-house milling and 3D printing to deliver precise, premium results.

Qualifications

• Has good experience working as a dental ceramist.
• Is confident with ceramic layering, staining and glazing.
• Has a good eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Has experience with crown and bridge and ideally implant restorations.
• Is comfortable working within a digital laboratory environment.
• Can navigate CADCAM systems and digital workflows.
• Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
• Can work independently while also being part of a small team.
• Is reliable, professional and conscientious.
• Is GDC registered.
• Has the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ceramic layering to a high standard across the workflow.

• Produce crown and bridge restorations, including implants when required.

Salary: £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and skill level

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Right to work in the UK: Essential

We are a well-established private dental laboratory based in Leigh-on-Sea, specialising in high-quality crown and bridge, implant restorations and complex restorative cases.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Ceramist to join our team on a full-time basis.

We pride ourselves on producing high-quality work to a very high standard, using premium materials and components. Much of our work is focused on implant restorations, aesthetic cases and complex private restorative work.

We are a fully digital laboratory, with in-house milling and 3D printing, and are looking for someone who is comfortable working within a modern digital workflow.

The Role

The successful candidate will be confident across the ceramic workflow and able to produce high-quality work from start to finish.

The role will include:

• Ceramic layering
• Staining and glazing
• Crown and bridge
• Aesthetic and complex restorative cases
• Working with digital workflows and CADCAM
• Working alongside our in-house milling and 3D printing facilities

You do not need to be a CADCAM specialist, but you should be comfortable navigating digital workflows and have a willingness to use and develop your CADCAM skills.
