Job Opportunity: Digital Dental Lab Technician / Manager
Location: London
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum

We are excited to offer a unique and rewarding opportunity for a Digital Dental Lab Technician / Manager to join our high-end private dental clinic. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and skilled professional passionate about digital dentistry and ready to step into a leadership position within a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the in-house digital dental laboratory, maintaining excellence in quality, efficiency, and productivity.
2. Design and fabricate dental restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants using 3Shape and other advanced CAD/CAM software.
3. Oversee milling workflows for materials such as metal, zirconia, PEEK, and others, ensuring precision and timely delivery.
4. Collaborate closely with dentists and specialists on complex cases, delivering customised, high-quality restorations.
5. Manage the full digital workflow: intraoral scanning ? design ? fabrication ? finishing.
6. Supervise and mentor junior technicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and continual development.
7. Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring the lab is fully equipped and up to date with the latest digital technologies.
8. Monitor and manage budgets while driving cost-effective, outcome-focused improvements in lab operations.

Skills & Qualifications

1. 5+ years’ experience in digital dental design and laboratory work (preferred).
2. High proficiency with 3Shape CAD/CAM systems.
3. Advanced knowledge of milling techniques and restorative materials (e.g., zirconia, PEEK, metal).
4. Hands-on experience with Digital Smile Design and All-on-6 workflows (essential).
5. Proven leadership and lab management experience.
6. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to aesthetic and functional outcomes.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
8. Organised and self-driven, with the ability to manage timelines and deliver results efficiently.
