Job Description:

Ever wondered how a brand like Oral-B becomes the #1 brand recommended by dentists worldwide? Do you want to be a part of a global brand’s mission to continue to be the world’s most influential?

We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Dental Professional to join our Oral-B team on a part-time basis to help us foster connections between academia and practical applications in dental care!

In this role, you will visit dental schools to engage with faculty and students, delivering presentations and facilitating discussions focused on Oral-B technology and scientific research. This role aims to enhance understanding of Oral-B products and their scientific foundations in an academic setting. Specifically, you will:

  • Enhance oral care education by engaging with dental schools and facilitating discussions that encourage critical thinking on oral hygiene technologies.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate Oral-B insights into existing curricula and contribute to the development of new courses related to such.
  • Create educational materials that highlight the scientific foundations of Oral-B products, while staying informed on the latest oral care technology research.
  • Build connections with dental faculty and student groups to promote ongoing dialogue about Oral-B and represent P&G.
  • Collect feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of your efforts and provide updates to the PSR Manager on your activities and impact.

The role will be field-based, covering the Northern UK region with key locations including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, as well as dental schools in Scotland and Wales. To effectively serve this area, ideally, you will be living in or near the Greater Manchester area, within easy reach of an airport offering convenient access to the dental schools within your scope. There is no relocation support available for this role, and therefore you should already be on patch.

This role is available on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 2.5 days a week (19 hours). Whilst the role offers flexibility for you to choose the days worked across the working week (Monday to Friday), you will be expected to coordinate your meetings to align with Dental Schools' availability and to ensure that your travel is planned efficiently. Some overnight stays will be required.

What We Offer You:

  • Responsibilities as of Day 1: You will feel the ownership of your work and your impact on the business from the very beginning, managing your own territory right from the start.
  • Continuous Coaching: You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
  • Multifaceted, and supportive work environment: Employees are at the core of P&G, we value every individual and promote work/life balance.
  • Competitive Salary and Benefits: P&G takes a Total Rewards approach, meaning on top of your salary, which is competitive, you can expect a range of benefits including a double-matched pension scheme, private health insurance, participation in a stock ownership scheme, car allowance, and your very own ‘Flex4Me’ Fund, which enables you to allocate a portion of your benefits package to the areas that matter most to you.
