To provide an efficient receptionist service to all visitors attending the Department/Clinic and maintain a friendly, sensitive approach.

Main duties of the job

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and receive all patients and visitors attending the department.
  • Take appropriate details and ensure patient demographic details are correct within Epic.
  • Provide general advice about services, referrals, and access to services for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Make appointments and ensure appointment outcomes are recorded within Epic.
  • Make, cancel, or rebook appointments for specialist nurses and consultants within Epic.
  • Organize additional services for patients, such as booking interpreters and patient transport.
