Job description

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our fully private practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, your role is essential in maintaining the exceptional service we are known for. This position is available as a job-share arrangement, specifically covering Mondays and Fridays, 8.15am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients with warmth, ensuring a comforting patient experience.
  • Efficiently manage appointment booking.
  • Handle patient inquiries discreetly in person and over the phone.
  • Manage invoicing and patient finances.
  • Proactively contact patients to arrange for their necessary care.
  • Safeguard patient records and uphold their privacy in accordance with GDPR.
  • Contribute to the professional and courteous environment.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is required, no experience within the dental sector is necessary as full training can be given.
  • A calm and professional demeanour with strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities for discreet multitasking.
  • A commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • A passion for providing discreet, exceptional customer service.
