Job summary

mydentist East Preston is seeking a friendly receptionist to welcome patients in person and by phone, ensuring smooth appointment flow and clear information for each customer. You will support daily tasks to keep the practice organised and compliant while building strong relationships in a fast-paced setting.

The role is a 1-year maternity cover, with part-time hours (Thursday and Friday, 08:30–17:15, 15.5 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Friendly, caring and compassionate receptionist.
• Organised with ability to multitask and meet KPI targets.
• Great at building relationships with customers.
• Comfortable using computer systems (training provided).
• Confident in a fast-paced environment and able to diffuse challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly – in person and over the phone.
• Keep appointments running smoothly and efficiently so everything flows well for the team.
