Job summary

The Swansea Bay University Health Board invites applications for a Dental Practice Advisor to support GDS and wider dental services. The role focuses on clinical advice, partnering with dental contractors, and contributing to governance and assurance across the board.

The post holder will assist with HIW inspection preparedness, promote professional standards for GDC-registered staff, and help remodel care pathways to improve patient outcomes and access to care near home.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered professional in good standing with the Dental Council.
• Experience supporting General Dental Services and dental contractors.
• Familiar with HIW inspection preparation and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to GDS practices and dental staff across the Health Board.
• Support preparation for HIW inspection visits and QA submissions.
• Contribute to care pathway remodelling to improve patient outcomes near home.
• Promote governance standards within the HB's clinical governance framework.
