Job summary

Henry Schein Dental Recruitment is helping a private, established clinic in Barnet, London to appoint a Dental Practice Development Manager. The role is full time with start as soon as possible and days/hours to be confirmed.

Qualifications

  • Patient-centred mindset with confidence managing concerns and complaints.
  • Dental management experience; minimum 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day practice performance across people, patients and performance.
  • Develop the multidisciplinary team with clear expectations and ownership.
  • Track core KPIs: utilisation, conversion, revenue and patient experience.
  • Collaborate with Treatment Coordinators and clinicians to optimise the patient journey.
  • Oversee diary management balancing productivity and high-quality experience.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ongoing CQC readiness.
  • Manage costs, stock and budgets in line with targets.
  • Own operational processes, spot risks early and drive improvements.
  • Resolve patient feedback with care and pace.
  • Support local growth through marketing and community engagement.

A new opportunity has become available for a Dental Practice Development Manager to join a fully private, established clinic located in Barnet, London.

Start date – as soon as possible.

This role is to work full time, exact working days/hours are to be confirmed.

What Your Day Will Look Like

You will:

  • Lead day to day practice performance across people, patients & performance
  • Lead and develop the multidisciplinary team, setting clear expectations and ownership
  • Track and manage core KPIs including utilisation, conversion, revenue and patient experience

  • Oversee diary management to balance productivity with a calm, high quality experience
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ongoing CQC readiness

Essential Experience
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management, and commercial targets

  • Experience handling people matters including performance improvement, absence management, and team development
  • Organised, structured, and solutions focused, with consistent follow through
  • Patient centred mindset with confidence managing concerns and complaints effectively
  • Previous Dental Management experience (Minimum 5 years)
