Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and conscientious dentists with good interpersonal and clinical skills to join the Community Dental Service in Bury. Working as part of a team and with excellent nursing support, this post will suit a dentist who is committed to providing a high standard of oral health care. There will be the requirement to work across other clinical sites in Greater Manchester depending on service need.

The post-holder will be part of a team providing a high standard of dental care for patients who are unable to receive care in a general dental practice environment, including patients with disabilities and children requiring inhalation sedation or general anaesthesia. The successful candidate will preferably have current or recent experience of working in a UK-based salaried primary care dental service. Ideally the candidate should have established and demonstrable skills in the provision of oral health care for children and adults with special needs. The candidate will also ideally have experience of providing dental care under sedation and general anaesthesia, domiciliary dentistry and dental epidemiological fieldwork. Candidates who have worked in General Dental Services and have an interest in paediatric or special care dentistry will also be considered.

Flexible working will be considered for all roles.
