Job summary

Ferndown Dental Practice in Dorset is seeking an Apprentice or Trainee Dental Nurse to join a friendly, supportive team. The role offers full training, hands-on experience, and progression toward a recognised Dental Nursing qualification.

You will learn all aspects of dental nursing, work alongside experienced clinicians, and contribute to a caring patient experience in a busy practice. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7:45am to 4:15pm, and is paid at the National

• No prior dental experience is required; candidate should have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Keen to learn and develop within a supportive dental team.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care and joining a long-term career in dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective chairside support to clinicians.
• Prepare and maintain dental surgeries.
• Welcome and support patients throughout appointments.
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
• Assist with decontamination and instrument processing procedures.
• Support clinicians with a variety of treatments.
• Help maintain a smooth and efficient clinical workflow.
