Job summary

Smile Together in Truro is seeking a caring, experienced Dental Nurse to join our patient-focused team. You will provide essential chairside support to clinicians and help deliver safe, high-quality dental services on site.

Applicants with radiography, sedation or GA support are encouraged; if you don't have all qualifications yet, we will support training and progression as you gain them, with salary reflecting your current skills and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Registered dental nurse with right to work in the UK and GDC registration is preferred.
• We value post-qualification skills in radiography, sedation or GA support.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to clinicians and ensure safe and efficient delivery of dental services.
• Support radiography, sedation and general anaesthetic services as required.
• Contribute to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development.

*£30,680 is available to Dental Nurses who hold two additional qualifications from the following areas:

• Radiography
• IHS / IV Sedation
• Fluoride Varnish Application
• Oral Health Education

About the role:

We are looking for a caring, motivated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly, patient-focused team. This is an important role providing essential chairside support to clinicians and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of dental services.

We particularly welcome applicants with additional post-qualification skills and experience in areas such as dental radiography, sedation, and support for general anaesthetic (GA) services. These specialist skills are highly valued in supporting our nurse-led radiography clinics, general anaesthetic service and the wider delivery of high-quality patient care across our services.

Candidates who do not currently hold all the additional qualifications are also encouraged to apply. We are committed to supporting professional development and will provide opportunities to undertake relevant training and qualifications. The starting salary will reflect the candidate’s existing qualifications, skills and experience, with the opportunity for salary progression as additional qualifications are achieved, in line with the requirements of the role.
