NHS Shetland is inviting applications for a Qualified/Student Dental Nurse (Ref: 262028), a part-time substantive post working 35 hours per week. The role offers Band 4 salary (£31,537–£34,303 per annum pro rata) and pay during training per Annex 21, with an additional Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 pro rata.

Based in Lerwick or Brae, the post supports the Public Dental Service. You will join a friendly team, carry out chair-side duties with Dentists, Therapists and Hygienists, and work

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Dental Council and NHS dentistry experience.
• Willingness to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• Able to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Carry out chair-side duties with dentists, therapists and hygienists.
• Work across Lerwick/Brae and occasionally in hospital clinics.
• Support training pathway towards National Diploma in Dental Nursing.
