Job description

Are you a qualified Dental Nurse looking for your next opportunity? An exciting position has become available within our modern, forward-thinking dental practice.

Overview

We are primarily seeking a motivated and caring Dental Nurse to join our skilled team. However, there is also the opportunity to be considered for the Head Nurse role.

Main Responsibilities

• Support dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality clinical care.
• Deliver excellent patient care and ensure a calm, professional experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, including decontamination of dental instruments.
• Contribute to team meetings and practice improvement initiatives.
• (For the Head Nurse role) Take responsibility for Infection Prevention and Control, act as a named mentor for trainee nurses, oversee ordering and clinical stock management, and serve as a point of contact for nursing queries - supporting the nursing team to be the best they can be.

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration essential.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude and genuine passion for patient care.
• An interest in developing own skills through post-registration qualifications – including radiography/CBCT training.
