Job summary

Skills4Dental in Macclesfield is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse position. No previous experience is required as full training, mentoring and support will be provided throughout development. You will work in a friendly private practice, assisting clinicians and gaining hands-on experience from day one.

The role includes opportunities for progression within dentistry, a patient-facing environment, and working Monday to Friday with overtime at weekends at a higher rate of pay.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English.
• No previous experience required; full training, mentoring and support provided.
• Calm, compassionate, confident, caring and a thirst for knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and clinicians during a range of dental treatments and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment and materials are ready for use.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain instruments per infection control standards.
• Update patient records accurately using computer-based systems.
• Help manage appointment flow and support the smooth running of the practice.
