About the Role

Position: Dental Nurse / Receptionist
Employment Term: Permanent (4-day week possible for the right candidate)
Location: Private practice with free parking on-site
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 08:15 – 17:15
Start Date: End of July
Salary: £13–16 per hour, dependent on experience
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
Software Used: SOE (Software of Excellence) – experience desirable but not essentialAbout the Practice

We’re a modern private dental practice offering a comprehensive range of treatments including General Dentistry, Endodontics, Clear Aligners, Orthodontics, Implantology, and Hygienist services. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Assisting the dentist during a wide range of treatments across general and specialist procedures
Preparing and sterilising instruments and maintaining impeccable infection control standards
Supporting clinicians with implant, orthodontic, and endodontic procedures
Handling patient records and updating clinical notes using SOE software
Providing a warm and professional welcome at reception, handling bookings and enquiries efficiently
Managing day-to-day operations including stock control, diary management, and front-of-house dutiesWhat We’re Looking For:

GDC registered Dental Nurse
Previous experience working as a dental receptionist
Able to multitask efficiently between clinical and administrative duties
A real team player with a positive attitude—someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in wherever needed
Strong communication skills and fluent command of written and spoken English
A friendly, calm and reassuring manner—great with patients and colleagues alike
Full driving licence and ability to travel to the practice independentlyDesirable Qualities:

Previous experience using SOE software
Experience across multiple disciplines (e.g. ortho, implants, endo)
