Job summary

PortmanDentex in Wolverhampton is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our long-standing, friendly team at Parkside Dental Care. This part-time position offers one day per week, with potential for additional days, and requires a recognised dental nursing qualification and active GDC registration.

You will work within a four-surgery private practice offering implants, endo, minor surgery and NHS ortho. You can work independently in nurse-led clinics and stay within your scope of practice,

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Orthodontic experience (R4) preferred, not essential.
• Empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on great service and relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality chairside support for a four-surgery private practice.
• Assist with implants, endo, minor surgery and NHS ortho where applicable.
• Work within nurse-led clinics and within your scope of practice.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our long standing, friendly & experienced team at Parkside Dental Care in Wolverhampton.

The Essentials

• Part-time 1 day per week
• We may be able to consider additional days for the right candidate so apply and let us know what works for you!
• Required working day: Monday 7.45am - 6pm
• Competitive pay from £13.70 per hour in line with experience
• Free parking on site
• 4 surgery private practice with a wide range of treatments including implants, endo, minor surgery and NHS ortho.
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About You

We’d love to receive your application to our Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration
• Orthodontic Experience/knowledge of R4 preferred, not essential.
• A caring and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients
• Orthodontic experience or interest in learning ortho
