Job summary

Aline Specialists on Bridge Street in Winchester is seeking a Dental Nurse / Orthodontic Nurse to join a new specialist orthodontic clinic. You will work alongside an expert team delivering Invisalign and complex orthodontic care in a modern, patient-focused environment.

The role offers permanent, full-time employment with supportive training in a specialist setting. You’ll be part of a close-knit team focused on quality, precision and patient experience from day one.

Responsibilities

A little about us

We're a specialist-only orthodontic practice — orthodontics is all we do. We were set up to bring a different level of orthodontic care to Winchester: specialist-led, built around advanced aligner planning, and backed by real international clinical recognition.

Our clinical team is led by internationally recognised specialist orthodontists who are among the most experienced clear aligner clinicians in the UK and Europe. They lecture internationally, treat highly complex cases and deliver one of the country's leading clear aligner training programmes for other orthodontists and dentists.

What that means for you, day to day, is a working environment that's rare in private practice: modern, specialist-led, and far more interested in quality, precision and looking after one another than in how many patients we can squeeze into a day.

What will your day look like?

You’ll work side by side with our founding clinical team, supporting adults and teenagers through their orthodontic journeys — including a high volume of Invisalign and complex orthodontic cases.

Your role will include:

• Working chairside across consultations, aligner fittings, fixed appliance treatment and review appointments
• Supporting our digital workflows, including iTero scanning and digital radiography
• Keeping our standards of decontamination and infection control high, and playing your part in CQC compliance alongside the rest of the team
• Caring for patients before, during and after treatment — with generous appointment times that give you room to do it properly
• Being part of a small, close-knit team where every nurse shapes the patient experience

• Are registered with the GDC and hold valid indemnity
• Hold a recognised dental nursing qualification
• Are calm, confident and unhurried with patients

Ideally you’ll have worked in private or specialist practice before. Orthodontic experience is a lovely bonus rather than a must — we’ll train you fully, and we won’t expect you to know everything from day one. What matters more to us is that you care, ask questions and want to keep learning.
