Job summary

Nurse Seekers is recruiting a Dental Nurse for a welcoming practice in Swanley, Kent. The role offers a mix of full-time and part-time permanent positions with a starting rate of £14.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

You will provide chairside assistance, prepare surgeries and materials, maintain infection control, and support patients throughout their visits while working closely with the dental team. NHS and private patient care are provided, and there may be additional hours including

Qualifications

• GDC registration preferred.
• Infection prevention and control procedures knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, caring and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant immunisation in line with EPP guidelines.
• A full CV and references will be required.

Responsibilities

• Providing chairside assistance during dental treatments.
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control.
• Supporting patients throughout their appointments and helping them feel comfortable.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to confidentiality requirements.
• Ensuring the surgery is clean, organised and ready for each patient.
• Working closely with the wider dental team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to join a friendly and welcoming dental team in Swanley, Kent. The practice provides both NHS and private dental care and is looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.

Working Hours

The working pattern includes a mixture of full days and shorter sessions:

• Monday: 8:15am-1:00pm, with alternate afternoons from 2:00pm-5:30pm
• Tuesday:, 8:15am-5:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:15am-5:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Additional hours and Saturday work may also be available.

Key Responsibilities
