Qualifications

  • Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for providing exceptional standards of patient care
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in using dental equipment and instruments
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and practice management systems
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a collaborative team
  • Implant and Orthodontic experience is desirable but not essential
  • Empathetic approach to patient care, particularly when dealing with nervous or anxious patients
