Job summary

Southsea Orthodontics in Southsea, Hampshire, is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly, modern practice. You will support Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists across 4 surgeries, with the opportunity to work independently in nurse-led clinics and assist with reception when needed.

The role offers full-time hours (42.5 per week) with a competitive hourly rate from £13.57, plus access to CPD and opportunities for career progression within our NHS and private patient mix.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Caring and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• Team player who provides great service and builds relationships.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties as support for the practice.
• Work independently within nurse-led clinics as appropriate.

• Full-time hours available 42.5 hrs over 5 days (some flexibility possible)

• Typical shifts:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday- 8.30am-5.30pm

• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.57

• Specialist Orthodontic, 4 surgery practice,caring for both NHS and private patients

• Modern and well-equipped surgeries,working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists

• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About you

We’dlove to receive your application to our Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration

• A caring and empathetic approach, withstrong communicationskills

• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients

• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
