Job summary

MBR Dental is assisting a private practice in Southampton to recruit a Part-Time Dental Nurse to join a friendly team on a permanent basis. The role covers chairside assistance, surgery prep, infection control and support for general dentistry, implants and Invisalign.

Hours are Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm (17 hours per week). GDC registration and a valid DBS check are required, with Dentally software experience preferred. Fully funded CPD and other staff benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is required to practise as a dental nurse.
• At least one year of dental nursing experience is preferred.
• DBS check is required (or in process).
• Dentally software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance and patient care.
• Surgery preparation and instrument decontamination.
• Maintaining infection control and CQC standards.
• Assisting with general dentistry, implants, Invisalign and periodontics.
• Occasional reception duties.

Salary: £11,000–£12,000 per annum

Start date: As soon as possible, with notice periods considered.
