Job summary

MBR Dental Recruitment are assisting a well-established dental practice in Winchester, Hampshire, with the recruitment of a part-time Dental Nurse to join their friendly team. The role is 1 day per week (Saturday) 7:45am-4:30pm, with salary £25,000-£26,000 FTE depending on experience.

You will provide chairside assistance, help with decontamination and infection control, and may undertake occasional reception duties.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is essential.
• An active DBS check is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Dental Nursing experience.
• Experience with Dentally is preferred but not essential.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Support patients throughout treatment and maintain comfort.
• Prepare surgeries and ensure complete equipment.
• Decontaminate and sterilise instruments and maintain rooms.
• Maintain dental equipment and uphold infection control standards.
• Assist with general practice procedures and some reception duties.

MBR Dental are currently assisting a well-established dental practice in Winchester, Hampshire, with the recruitment of a Dental Nurse to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Nurse looking for a regular part-time position within a supportive practice offering opportunities for professional development and progression.

About the Role

As a Dental Nurse, you will support the clinical team and help provide a high standard of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment
• Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are fully equipped
• Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
• Maintaining dental equipment and surgery areas
• Following infection control procedures and CQC requirements
• Assisting with general practice procedures
• Occasional reception and administrative duties

The practice provides general dentistry alongside Orthodontics and Implants, offering a varied and interesting working environment.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have at least 1 year of Dental Nursing experience
• Be GDC registered
• Hold a valid DBS
• Have a professional and caring approach to patient care
• Be reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have Dentally experience (preferred but not essential)
