Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our Occudental practice in Sheffield. This part-time role runs over four days, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am–6.30pm, with a competitive hourly rate from £13.50 (experience-dependent).

Our 3-surgery, fully private practice offers implants, Invisalign, facial aesthetics and general dentistry. Modern, well-equipped surgeries and nurse-led clinics provide an excellent setting to work independently within your scope.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate chairside support during a variety of patient treatments and procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort, and build positive relationships
• Sterilise and process dental instruments using appropriate sterilization procedures and equipment
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster an inclusive, supportive team atmosphere
• Contribute to a patient-focused culture by going above and beyond to ensure positive patient experiences

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly & experienced team at our Occudental practice in Sheffield.

The essentials:

• Part time hours over 4 days
• Mondays - Thursdays 8.30am - 6.30pm
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.50 in line with experience
• 3-surgery, fully private practice offering a range of treatments including: Implants, Invisalign, facial aesthetics and general dentistry
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice
• Easily commutable with bus & tram stops close by

As a Dental Nurse you will:
