About the role:
The School of Medicine and Dentistry requires a Dental Nurse to join our recently extended campus-based clinic to provide dental nurse support for the whole dental team and support the day to day running of a busy clinic and teaching suite. The role involves assisting with a variety of dental treatments and procedures, providing pre/post operative advice, and preparing equipment and materials for clinical use.
About you:
The successful candidate will need substantive experience in a busy dental practice and knowledge of SOE. They will require good communication skills along with the ability to work under pressure.
For this role a registration with the General Dental Council and a National Certificate of the Examining Board for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 are essential requirements.
Additional information:
The hours for this role are 36.25 hours per week, worked over 5 days between 08:45-17:00. We may also consider part time hours. This position is based in Preston.
