Job summary

Durham Smile Clinic in Durham is hiring a dental nurse on a part-time basis. Typical shifts 8.45am to 6.00pm, 3 days per week, with a competitive hourly rate from £13.50.

Join a modern, nurse-led setting with 6 surgeries, working alongside Orthodontists and Therapists, and opportunities to work independently within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental team during patient care and procedures with precision.
• Provide excellent service and build strong relationships with patients and staff.
• Work independently within nurse-led clinics within your scope of practice.
• Maintain infection control and clinic standards across all surgeries.
