Job description

Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust

The post is based at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

Fully registered with the General Dental Council with Personal Development Plan and CPD records.

The successful candidate must demonstrate an attitude that respects and values service users and also the core values of Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will share this commitment and demonstrate both our Trust values and our culture of compassionate care.

(Hours are worked from Monday - Friday including evening clinics.)

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work predominantly within the Department of Paediatric Dentistry, Maxillofacial and Orthodontics.

  • Role model behaviours in accordance with the Trust Behavioural Framework.
  • Ensure best possible dental nursing care and practice including those with complex medical, physical and emotional needs.
  • Provide close support to dentistry, maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
  • Learn new skills in line with new practices, qualifications and modernisation.
  • Have commitment to continuing professional development.
