Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dedicated and friendly team at Apolline Dental Practice. You will play a key role in ensuring excellent patient care and smooth daily operations both in the clinic and at the front desk. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide chairside support to dentists, ensuring that patients feel relaxed, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit.

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, assist with procedures, and maintain a safe and hygienic clinical environment.

• Reception Duties: Manage appointment bookings, welcome patients, answer telephone queries, and handle patient records and administrative tasks.

• Compliance: Ensure all activities are compliant with GDC and CQC standards and contribute to practice audits and policies.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and the wider team to deliver a seamless patient journey from reception to treatment.

Requirements

• GDC Registration: Must be registered with the General Dental Council (or actively working towards registration).

• CPD: Up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development.

• Technical Skills: Experience with dental software systems is preferred (training can be provided).

• Communication: Fluent in English, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• References: Ability to provide 2x professional references.

• Indemnity: Current professional indemnity insurance required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
