Dental Nurse

The Westbourne Centre

Part time / Full time

The Westbourne Centre is one of the largest independent clinics in the UK offering treatments across a range of dental and medical specialties.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental nurse to join our Dental team at The Westbourne Centre. The role will involve working as part of the Dental nursing team providing support for Consultant and Specialist Dental and Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons across a range of specialties including Oral surgery, Restorative dentistry and Orthodontics. The patient groups include specialist referrals for private care as well as secondary care referrals for oral surgery as part of an NHS referral program.

The successful applicant to this post will complement the current team, helping to ensure that efficient and individualised high quality patient care, is offered to our whole patient group.

Qualities sought in the successful applicant, are the desire to offer high quality patient care, possess good communication skills and also work seamlessly within a large team. The successful applicant will find a friendly, supportive group of clinicians and nurses, within which career progression and ongoing education are fully supported.

Essential requirements

  • Registered with the General Dental Council
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to acquire further experience across the range of dental subspecialities
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible working to include occasional evenings and Saturdays

Desirable attributes

  • Experience of previous specialist nursing support in either restorative or surgical disciplines
  • Experience / Radiography preferred but not essential
