Job summary

Ash Dental Practice, part of Rodericks Dental Partners, seeks a Qualified Dental Nurse to support a busy clinic in Manchester. You will assist dentists, maintain instruments, uphold infection control, and help deliver excellent patient experiences across 22 hours per week.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse is required.
• Confident and professional communication with patients and team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in a clinical dental setting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Uphold infection control standards and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote oral health advice and dental care products to patients.
• Contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team
