A healthcare services provider is seeking a dynamic dental nurse to join their Emergency Dental Service in Burnley. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in an unpredictable environment. Candidates should have an NVQ L3 in Dental Nursing and be GDC registered. This position offers flexible bank hours with a pay of £17.32 per hour plus enhancements for weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for a person who enjoys urgent dental care/the unexpected elements of dentistry but will take satisfaction from the less routine side of dentistry. An honest person, who cares about their work & their team members.
The Service:
We are commissioned by Lancashire and South Cumbria, Integrated Care Board to provide NHS urgent and emergency dental care 365 days, at multiple sites across Lancashire. We believe in making a difference, and pride ourselves on delivering high quality patient care. We currently have services operating in Blackpool, Morecambe, Blackburn and Burnley. We operate out of hours, evenings, weekends & bank holidays 365 days per year.
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Individual to develop their dental nursing career within our Emergency Dental Service.
Overview of Role:
Hours: Maternity cover (November 2025 - June 2026)
The Service aims to provide patients with treatment to relieve pain, swellings, and the management of Injuries/Traumas. Caring and Compassionate personality is extremely important. Confident dental nurse able to work as a team in a busy, and sometimes unpredictable environment.
