Dental Nurse Opportunity in Bristol

We have a great opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Dental Nurse to join a dedicated team in Bristol, supporting their commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Preparing and maintaining the clinical environment, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
• Ensuring patients are comfortable and providing reassurance and support.
• Recording and updating patient medical and dental histories.
• Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Performing infection control procedures and adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Managing and maintaining equipment and instruments.
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records.
• Maintaining accurate patient notes and ensuring confidentiality.
• Assisting with stock control and ordering dental supplies.
• Liaising with patients, dental professionals, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• Qualified Dental Nurse (NEBDN or equivalent).
• Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
